"You shouldn't mix business with pleasure" they say.
Well, "they" don't know anything.
You learn the most this way. Guiding can be intimate AND hands-off at the same time.
This is how you truly live and come to experience the different facets of love.
It's a delicate balance to guide correctly.
If you guide correctly, the other person retains their own innate, inborn authority.
You just guide them through their own processes.
Imagine how difficult that is for a guide, to remain subjectively objective when the mind is telling all sorts of stories, and trying to ensure it's own security, and trying to concoct the perfect plan that exalts all parties and yada yada yada.
To be a guide you cannot have a personal agenda. You just can't.
You have to surrender to your own authority and trust yourself that you have entered into things correctly as yourself.
Human Design is about preserving the integrity of the self.
When everything and everyone else goes away, who is left? Who is there? Do you know that person?
Love yourself.
Always. Not just when your mind/screwed-up value systems say it's okay to do so.
Feel, and think, but love yourself, no matter your definition.
