Here's a footnote from the book Escape From Freedom by Erich Fromm. Published in 1941.
Erich Fromm was purportedly a 5/1 Emotional Manifesting Generator.
(I've realized that prior to "starting" my experiment the majority of my favorite authors- or should I say sources of information- are/were 5/1s).
Fromm was onto something! He understood much of what he didn't fully understand. He didn't understand the mechanics fully. But he did understand the essence of the self.
The true self is autonomous. No stuck energy. Just flowing through the mythos that is your life. Our apprehension to what we perceive as pain is what keeps us in the not-self generally.
I'm a 6/2 Mental Projector with 61-24 and 63-4 in design/"unconscious" (awareness and logic. Design of a thinker).
The trip is that I've always been correctly operating as long as I'm operating in the now, from my body. Not the mind. (There have assuredly been times I've been pathological or operating with a concise agenda aka using my powerful mind as a motor).
The study of Human Design is the study of fostering awareness about circumstances and strategies. Good thing I already have that. (Doesn't necessarily make life easier. It just means you are aware of everything that's going on regardless of whether the other is or not. In fact one could argue that it makes life "harder"- but that's also subjective).
Would you like to learn?
The idea is for your body to be in a constant state of "free association" (based on your own body's inherent wisdom- despite the external circumstances).
That's true freedom.
If you don't even trust your body are you really free?
Also. Sidenote. Everyone was responsible for the holocaust, including Hitler of course. Only sick people possessed by the notself would conform to a system that leads to the genocide of millions of innocents.
If everyone simply followed their own individual strategy and authority then- potentially- many people would still be alive! And Hitler may have just stuck with painting horses and brooding in isolation (instead of convincing others to kill each other). (But of course, that's a utopian idealism, and the past happened).
The point is:
People are really all about offloading all of the blame onto one or two people when atrocities like this happen.
Nope. It's because so many people ignore their inner compass... continually.
And then those very same people have the audacity to blame others for things that go wrong worldwide.
Imagine how easy it is to project all of your suppressed garbage onto one psychopath. Everyone will jump on board with you and then nobody has to face themselves.
It's brilliant.
We can keep offloading our karma onto obviously maniacal scapegoats via systemic oppression and programming (which simply creates more psychopathic scapegoats)
Or
We can all be brave and take personal responsibility (Embodiment, rather) for a variety of global issues we face today.
Everyone individually tackling universal issues.
Otherwise, we can blame ourselves and each other forever.
